METALSPAN by ALUCOPANEL is supplied as part of our specially designed M-SPAN BetterFIX Rainscreen Cladding System to provide maximum fire safety for building facades while reducing embodied carbon ( A1-A3: 4.42 CO2 Eq). Moreover, our composite technology with a non-combustible core reduces the demand for aluminium by 66% compared to traditional 3mm solid aluminium cladding. Our unique panels rainscreen panel system has been designed to provide pressure-equalised, better rear ventilated system for the design community, developers, contractors, and clients.
The M-SPAN M03 BetterFIX Rainscreen Cladding System has successfully passed the CWCT test, which includes dynamic water and wind pressure tested at various levels; a full report is available on request.
Our M-SPAN M01, M03, M10 systems are designed and engineered to enhance rear ventilation, featuring individually ventilated panels that improve rear ventilation in the facade. This design creates a pressure-equalised facade, effectively reducing the pressure differential between the exterior and interior of the cladding, and minimising the impact of wind pressure. Improved ventilation helps to keep the inner walls dry and improves thermal performance.

Further, our CNC routing time is five times faster than a 3mm solid aluminium material, leading to further energy savings.
Our A2 material has been used on over 250 high-rise buildings with over one million square metres on large international corporations, including offices, airports, hospitals, retail, and residential buildings. The new A1 technology takes this to the next level, providing maximum fire safety, and the biggest change is that it does not propagate smoke when compared to A2 material, which may propagate smoke during a fire.
